Re: is this right

I have found them now that the house packing is well under way. The price marked on the front of the box is £91.46 for those interested. I will be relisting them one ebay once we have moved as I have sold my bike and no longer need them as "spares on tap".

Re: is this right

For Info On phoning round for the parts, and before buying the two sets of seals seperately from wemoto, I was quoted £81.61 for the fork kit. Assuming this is more than just oil and dust seals, but as I'd already got the oil seals and was gambling on the dust wipers fitting I didn't call them back...

Re: Speedo stopped working

I would just paint the plastic black to make it blend in rather than going for those lights. I think it is some one on here that did a conversion with a Benelli headlight, which looks pretty good. http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... lli#p20188

Re: Speedo stopped working

Do you have a multimeter? If not jog down to JayCar and pick yourself up one. Then you can trace the problem and see if any power is getting the speedohealer or not. If it is it implies the speedohealer is rooted if not then you need to trace the live wire back towards the battery. Find the loose co...

Re: Front discs and pads ID

Whilst the callipers may fit it does not mean that discs will. Here are some reasons why: Different number of mounting bolts Differing mounting bolt offset Larger or smaller outer diameter Different inner diameter to go over the wheel spindle Different disc offset (angle away from wheel) And probabl...

Re: Front discs and pads ID

Pretty sure EBC make discs for this. Think Wemoto are an EBC retailer. Probably around £150 a side.

Can't find the kit any where at the moment so I have removed the auction now anyway :) Might turn up when we move house.

Re: is this right

If you are asking; am I seeing this correctly? Then the answer is yes. If you are asking if the price is right then I dunno, but it seemed like a fair price when I listed it given how scarce they were when I went looking for them and what I paid for them. Were they crappy aftermarket items then the ...

Re: some help again pleas

All bikes move to the left due to the road camber as far as I know. The part you are looking for might be under body because that is where the key blanks are, but I haven't checked.

Re: Another oldie tank size

You could use an auxiliary tank like the touring/enduro guys do. Another, less convenient, option is to use something like the fuel bottles that come with camping stoves such as the MSR petrol burning stoves. You could easily carry two litres of fuel in two bottles that way without modifying the bik...

Re: Gear change oil seal

Not done this seal but seals are a pain , use grease and line up seal very carefully and tap in square using a socket on outside edge. check numbers on the seal if they are same then it is or take it down to local bearing supplier. Unfortunately the old seal was so badly damaged I can't read...

Gear change oil seal

Has anybody changed the gear change oil seal. I cannot for the life of me get the Suzuki part I ordered to drive home. Are the Cagivas running a slightly different case? Seems highly unlikely, but...

Re: ABBA bent the gear selector shaft

Whilst the TLR shaft fits up nicely it took me a while to get the gear shift cover off. Had to stick a couple of socket extensions through from the other side of the bike and give the cover a whack with hammer that way. Getting everything apart has been a PITA as nothing was put together with any an...

Re: Magazines

I save myself the aggravation (and cash) and just don't bother buying the magazines any more. Think the last mag I bought was at a servo because it came with a free set of allen keys and it was the only way to get some at that time of night!
