Advice please on gearbox assembly
Hi, I am currently building back up my engine and gearbox and have a slight dilemma, the two gearshift fork shafts are different (one is hollow and the other solid) and I have mixed them up, they are the same diameters and lengths so will fit either way around but as they are different part numbers ...

English Workshop Manual for 1000
Hi, long time since I've posted on here, still have my v raptor which has been laid up for a good few years. Does anyone have a full english workshop manual for the 1000 engine? I have a copy of the one posted in the google docs but this turns to Italian part way through the engine strip.

Re: Clutch casing
Thanks for the replies but I don't think I explained myself properly, I should have said crankcase cover (clutch side), on the SV it is a one piece affair not like on the Raptor and TL which is two piece having a seperate clutch cover so if it would fit it would eliminate the leak problem.

Clutch casing
Does any know whether or not the clutch casing from an SV1000 will fit on my V Rap, I am fed up of trying to seal the leaking clutch cover so would like to try and fit the one piece unit from an SV?

Re: Chain / tyre tensioner replacement
I changed my adjusters a few years back due to a badly corroded and snapped bolt , got some second ones off ebay, can't remember them being handed though I'm sure they fit either side.

Can anyone recommend a matching colour for the engines side cases as I need to either repair and paint my existing clutch cover or paint and fit a (currently black) suzuki one

Re: Rough Running in Wet
Ahhh... dodgy front plug lead is a favourite, liberal amounts of WD40 or spray of choice might help. also prone to water in fuel if the little drain hole in the filler is blocked? I agree with shebee, I haven't had the front plug problem (although it sounds favourite) but I have had the water in th...
