Re: Todays visit,with link (hopefully)
I would worry far more about the mechanical stuff rather than the cosmetic. If the engine sounds good and has had some love and the bearings/ pivot points are free / well greased and you won't need to spend any big money immediately...... then it's probably a good buy. I paid 2k for mine with only 5...

Re: handling
When you say "handling" do you mean the roadholding or are you referring to the drive from the engine? If it's the latter then I'd agree with the others - you just need to adapt your style a little and get used to the V twin delivery. I was concerned when I changed from IL4 to V twin but s...

Re: Strange noise in the back(maybe rear cylinder)
Welcome Mike.
It may help to know how many miles the bike has done.
I'm sure there is an issue to do with rear cylinder knocking sounds that is well covered over on the TL websites ?? I haven't had the problem so haven't looked ..... yet

Re: Paddock Stand Bobbins
Thanks for the thoughts. Abba stand has no advantage for me over the paddock stand and has a high cost factor here. The rod through the axle works for the cups on the paddock stand, don't trust those pads, just wondered if anyone had had a brainwave and fitted bobbins. Cheers from NZ. An abba stand...

Re: Starter Problem
If you can work out the frequency of the knocks it may guide you.
In other words is it one for every revolution of the front sprocket OR the rear wheel OR each pass of the chain?
Do you have a tight spot in the chain ?

Hi Joaquim and welcome.
Hope you enjoy the Raptor. Interesting rear shock. Do you know if it bolts straight in or if adjustments had to be made?
