Wot with it being a damp day, I took the Buell shock that K-Tech refurbed apart to find out why it was crap. They must've thought it was an air shock, coz there was no oil to be found, in fact, as dry as a witches tit

Finally spoke to the 'can do' man at Hagons after waiting 2 weeks for Mr 'can't be arsed' to phone back :roll: He told me he could assemble a shock the same day and true enough, it was delivered the next. Maxton have a huge turn around time (even though I know someone who has contacts) and K-Tec refurbed a shock on one of my bikes and shortly after I replaced it with a custom built AST

Same story from Wilbers, Hyperpro, Nitron and spoken with 3X, Forza, and Bains (who tried hard but couldn't give an answer)

Anyone else had the rebound damping go off on their Xtra?

Just phoned them and found them unhelpful They state the shocks are not the same and want to see the bike, blah, blah.

I need a new rear shock for my Xtra Rap. Anyone know any suppliers? Does the Xtra use the same shock as a V?

Yep, in black on the Xtra. They copied the OE pegs from my Buell as well and gave free sets for my 3 Buells

Just reset my TPS following the above guide. Much nicer at low throttle openings. Ta chaps

I've got them on mine but had to modify a ZX10 clutch perch to mount the lever on and even had to mill that slightly, although you'd be ok with a file.

Nope. I was looking for revenge for last Sunday Got past 6 Ducs and then the gearbox on my Buell exploded I suspect they were the Ducati Snoring Club - not one stopped. Now the box is sorted with £550 worth of parts, I thought I'd take it for a spanking again
