The problem is possibly caused by some stupidly tight torque setting quoted in the owners manual. A much lower one prevents problems.

Just wondering but has anyone else had this problem with their mudguards? When I got my Raptor I noticed cracks around the fixing bolts of the front mudguard. Looks like they have been caused by tension. Since then a 'mate' has shattered the entire mudguard by moving the bike with the U lock on! We...

I used that same argument on a bloke who was using a footpath which crossed some of my land. I was out shooting and he told me to put my dog on a lead. I agreed to do so and after looking at his rather short wife, told him he should put his midget on a lead :lol:

It's a fast idle device rather than a choke, so you won't get any bore wash :? The bike will warm up faster if ridden gently for a few miles as opposed to being left with no load on the motor.
