Wanted Front Fender and Tank rubbers for 1000

Does anyone have a front fender in silver or carbon they don't mind posting over to the Colony? I am al...

Re: Luggage racks and such similar
Did you have to cut your under seat panels to get it to fit? We have carbon on the Wife's bike so I don't know if it is that or I am doing something wrong.

Fucking hot
It has been around 28 overnight at 36 during the day up here. Supposed to shower over the next couple of days so that will bring the mercury down and make it more comfortable.

Re: Parts in Australia
I just bought a new Reg/Rec from this dude for my Buell. I went for the flash series mosfet one so it was expensive, but I will never have to look at it again and it is a series one so it will use less power from the engine and create less heat.

Re: Regulator/rectifier
Just get a series one and save a lot of hassle. The normal ones pull full power out of your stator and shunt the unused power to earth, creating heat and using all the power all the time. A series electronic one uses mosfets (which are more efficient anyway) and switch them on and off to only take w...

It is religion mate. There is so much misinformation and outright lying involved with oils.Use whatever you are comfortable with. Personally I won't use dinosaur juice in any of my vehicles. And I boycott Castrol because their "fully synthetic" oils used to be from crude base stock - they ...

Re: Axle crash sliders
I got some made up for the Wife's Raptor from a local (Oz at least. He lives 2000miles away machinist buddy). I will see if I still have the drawings. They came tapped to either M6 or 1/4"UNC and I just bought some appropriate threaded rod from the hardware store and one nut. Thread the nut on ...

Not even North Qld. Central. I am in Rockhampton. Biggest dot when the Tropic of Capricorn runs off east into the sea.
There are only three that I know of. Although possibly a few down your way that I have only vague memories of.

Welcome. Always good to hear of another colonist!
Shebee, I am ~2100km (1300 miles) away from where he is. There is another Raptor about 600km away from me as well. We are a bloody big country!

Drilled a hole in the top of the airbox and filter. Will have to have a look at removing all the vacuum flapper rubbish too.
