Did you have to cut your under seat panels to get it to fit? We have carbon on the Wife's bike so I don't know if it is that or I am doing something wrong.

I just bought a new Reg/Rec from this dude for my Buell. I went for the flash series mosfet one so it was expensive, but I will never have to look at it again and it is a series one so it will use less power from the engine and create less heat.

Just get a series one and save a lot of hassle. The normal ones pull full power out of your stator and shunt the unused power to earth, creating heat and using all the power all the time. Drilled a hole in the top of the airbox and filter. Will have to have a look at removing all the vacuum flapper rubbish too.
