Re: New Raptor Owner

It's been a while since I posted as I sold the bike about three years or so ago. Now I'm looking around for a more classic cafe style bike but I've seen 'my bike' come back for sale for not much money. What do people think about buying an old bike back? I did sell it for a reason, but it is a good p...

I use a tool called a Ketten Max to clean my chain. It is so easy and tidy to use there's really no excuse for not using it. I bought mine locally here in Oz bit I assume google should help you track one down in the UK

Thinking that the globe had blown I dutifully went and bought a replacement on Sunday (I used the opportunity to get a 50% brighter globe) Upon fitting the new globe I fouind that...

I have Oggy Knobs fitted to mine, they were on the bike when I bought it. They seem to fit well and look OK and I would rocimend them. I've not tested them out yet (touch wood).

They also offer choices of coulour etc etc. I've not replaced them on my raptor but have used Goodriches on previous bikes and am getting a set of HELS for...

I've put a set of flat Renthals on mine and find the bike much more comfortable to ride and they look heaps better than the standard ones. The only issue I had was having to loop cables and brake lines to remove the slack.

Cheers

I need to change the chain and sproket on my bike but am having difficulty in trying to locate a kit for it. I've tried the local Suzuki and Cagiva dealers here in Perth (Aust) but the only response I got was to bring them in and we'll see if we can match them. I've tried B&C express and they st...

I found myself a set of chrome cruiser oval mirrors from a local bike store for $25 each (about 10 quid). Rubbed them back and painted them matt black. Reasonably happy with them but my taping could have been better!
