Check the 12v is getting to the red and blue wire at the coils, if not follow the circuit diagram back to the fuse

I'm pretty sure on the 650 you could switch from mph to kph somehow.

You probably can't go much higher , to be honest.
I use a Tuono shock and with the jack up plates I had to hammer a dent in the exhaust to clear the chain.

It should be on the right hand side of the steering stem , the same number is dot engraved and also on a plate next to it. both above the conformity sticker. The extra shock is 5mm longer I think, you may need to make up some different triangles like this.

With jack up plates and one cm longer shock I had to knock a dent into the exhaust to clear the chain.
