Hi all, I live in Australia, and have trouble finding a fuel filter for my Rappie.
Hubby has fitted one, but he’s not happy with how it sits.
Anyone know which one would be the best ?

Re: High mileage raptors
She sure does get exercised Snapdragon ! We live in a beautiful part of the world, even tho it can get cold in some areas during winter, it's still easy enough to tough it out. Hubby still has his first bike we bought together, it has had several sets of gauges so original mileage is unknown, but go...

Re: High mileage raptors
Hi, I live in sunny Queensland, Australia. I bought my Rappie with 32,000kms on it, Ive had it 4yrs, and it now has over 130,000kms. it has had a few temperamental moments, but has never let me down and still goes like a new bike :D Hubby has checked the shims regularly, but none have been changed a...

Re: Hello from Tropical North Queensland
Welcome, glad to see another Rappie on the Aussie isle, if ur eva near Toowoomba, look us up ! Most of these riders on the forum, have no idea how draining it is to ride in 32 degree Celsius weather, not that i'm complaining ! I'd rather warm than cold !! but there have been days so hot, i've felt l...

Re: Comfy seat?
I've roughly sewn some foam underneath my sheepskin, this seems to work.
i've ridden 1300kms in a day, two days in a row, and altho i was tired my girlie bits were fine.
i guess it would work for a bloke as well

Re: New Custom Paint for my Raptor !
Certainly different... where did you get the idea from? I agree the wheels stand out, only because they are the original colour. I know that because my bike has the same. 8) I looked at hundreds of airbrush pictures on the net, decided the mechanical theme suited this bike, but wanted to acknowledg...

Re: Evanescent yet thunderous
thank you for that, I enjoyed it tremendously
and i thoroughly agree, our steeds do sound so much better without baffles, although I admit to being very frightened
when noticing any "fun-police" looking my way.
keep up the writing, I love reading what you have to say.

Re: Loud pipes cause heart attacks.
i'm with you hairy mark, twice on the weekend I reckon I avoided trouble because of my loud pipes. idiot tin tops blocking the road, not pulling over to the verge, you just cant guess what they are thinking or about to do !!! But a couple of twists of the throttle and at least they knew I was coming...

Tank capacity confusion ?
Why is there so many different thoughts on the size of the fuel tank? :? After recently getting my tank painted, we decided to measure the exact amount of fuel put in the tank. My handbook says it is a 17lt tank. We measured 15.6lt, and that was right to the top. Now I know the fuel pump takes up so...

New Custom Paint for my Raptor !
Decided to get my Rappie custom painted, it's not really a show bike, but I love to have something different from anyone else. It's a style of bio-mechanical, with the raptor skin patches and eyes. The guy who did it was amazing, he was very thorough and we talked alot about what I expected. I think...
