Re: Alternative rear shocks

Hey Yeah,

I'm back up on the mine site now. So another 3 weeks before I get to have a play with the bike.

I designed the spacers but was unable to get them made up and fitted.

Re: Wheel spacers for R1 forks

Thanks tartan.

That should be enough to make sure I have the right bar stock available.
I guess we will have to measure it up anyway to a high precision. we dont want slop in the front end!

So the Left and right spacer are definitely different tough?

Cheers for the help mate. Much appreciated. :)

Wheel spacers for R1 forks

Hey Gang, I just purchased some 02/03 R1 forks from the US. Does anyone have drawings with dimensions for the wheel spacers that need to be machined up? I work up on a mine site 3 weeks on 1 week off and am planning to fit them up when I get home, but if i can send dimensions to my machinist friend ...

Re: Apologies and drinks

gest my friend.

does the moderation need to be so tough though.
Surely it would reduce the amount of work for the mods if we could report the dodgy posts rather than every thread have to be approved ?? I know this is the norm on all the other forums i visit.

Re: Alternative rear shocks

Re: yoshi adaptor

Phil, I'm having front suspension dramas too right now. after putting new seals, in it is getting worse under brakes with a vibration (most likely head stem) and i've got way too much static sag (maybe 40mm!). Plus i got sent the lowering kit triangles not the raiser kit. :( I did a big seach into t...

Alternative rear shocks

OK guys i dont know where my last thread went, maybe sits still in the moderating list however i need some help. My BikefarmMV triangles appear to be lowing the bike not raising it. A Lot. Ive even tried all orientations for bolting it up with no luck at any Jack up! I just spotted on Gumtree an Ohl...

nice to see another west aussie on here!

I'm assuming Rick Gills wont help?? When i used to own my Mito i used to just get eveything from th UK.
It was quicker and cheaper.

With the aussie dollar high atm, can you get the adaptor from the states??

Who is doing your dyno work?? Russel Speak?
