Re: Aftermarket exhausts
Thanks I knew it was a long shot. I've seen the MTC cans too. They do look great. I read somewhere that there is some connection between mtc and blue flame (set up by ex employees of blue flame I think). My brother has a blue flame on his tuono and that is a lovely exhaust with a real bark. Thanks a...

Aftermarket exhausts
Hi,
I've been looking around for some noisy cans for my Raptor 1000. I don't want to spend a fortune and was wondering if TL1000 cans or SV1000 cans can be made to fit without too many mods. Anyone gone down this route before?
Thanks - Alun

Re: Jack up kits
Thank you guys.
I'm thinking of a 20mm rise with this kit:

The bike is completely standard (standard rear shock). I'm guessing it'll be fine.

Jack up kits
Hi, I'm quite tall and I'm thinking about raising the seat height of my Raptor 1000. Has anyone already fitted one of the Lush Racing Jack up kits that are currently being advertised on eBay UK? Does raising the tail unit make the steering too twitchy or does it actually improve the turn in? Thanks ...

Re: Hello from South Wales
Thanks folks! Shedmonkey - The Navi was a good, comfy bike let down by shocking brakes. Mine had the front calipers overhauled and they were still iffy. The engine felt different to the way it feels in a raptor too. Still, a great winter bike or a cheap tourer. Anyone want crisps with their drink? AJ

Hello from South Wales
Hi, I'm Alun and I've just bought a standard 2003 Raptor 1000 in red. This is my second Raptor (I had a grey one when they first came out), my third Cagiva (I once had a Navigator) and my fifth Italian bike (I've also owned a Ducati 748 and an Aprilia RS250). I'm looking forward to a summer of ridin...
