Re: Fuel pump assembly

It's the same. But I wouldn't change the whole unit. I had severe fuelling problems with my 650ie. I bought a couple of low pressure filters for Suzuki GSXR from ebay and replaced the stock one and cleaned the high pressure filter with lots of carburettor cleaner. That worked for a couple of thousand...

Re: Oil cooler replacement lines

You don't need lines specifically for the raptor.
Get to a store that makes custom lines and they will make you a set.

Re: HELP! - Cagiva Raptor 650 - Front brake master cyclinder

I replaced the stock one with a used radial one from a SD 990.It's a brembo 17mm but I'm not sure about the diameter.
No mods needed, the brake line just had to be rerouted.

Re: KPH speedo needed for Raptor 650

I'm pretty sure on the 650 you could switch from mph to kph somehow. Try holding down the trip reset button while you turn on the ignition. That actually worked on my 650ie 2006 model.I found out about it while messing with the tacho one day. Long pressing the trip reset button, while you have the o...

Re: speedo sensor

I actually emailed Leonelli.
They responded pretty fast.
They didnt have the exact same sensor,so I asked them to send me one with a different plug.
The difference was that it had a female plug while the old one had a male one.
So I bought two male plugs and made an adaptor.

Re: speedo sensor

Well I finally solved it.
The plug from the new sensor had the side wires reversed.
So I changed them in the same order with the old one and now it works

Re: speedo sensor

It s 2006 650 IE. It should be 12 volts as I found the sensors brochure and it mentions it.
Also I have the service manual and claims the same.
So it should definetely be 12 volts.

Re: speedo sensor

Only guessing here, but these things need power to work, unlike magnetic reed switches. Therefore you need to check the power supply and the earth. One or other of those is the likely culprit for the symptoms you describe. If so, it might also mean that your old one is perfectly OK! Nick Well,it tu...

Re: speedo sensor

Well I got a new one from leonelli. It was with a different plug as they didnt have the same one so I made an adaptor. Other than that, its the same. But the bad thing is that I dont have speed readings even with the new one. So now I have to figure whats wrong... The old one would stop working somet...

Re: speedo sensor

Hi,
Anyone can confirm what sensors matches with the stock?
At least the cylinder as the plug can be modified to match.

Re: Replacement fuel pump

I just took my pump, went to a car parts dealer and found a similar magnetti marelli one.
Cost was 37 euros.
But it wasn't a plug n play situation. Some modding was needed, specially at the cables in order to fit,as the plug was different.

In need for info on how to adjust mixture(Anyone with teka/power commander,or a plug?)

I have a 650ie for 5 years. Because I've done quite a lot kms and I've also fitted cans and air filter, the idle mixture is lean and the ride at 3000-3500 rpms is awful. You cant literally commute with the bike. I made my own yoshi box and adjust the idle at +5%.Also added +5% at low-mid-high. But for...

Hello.
Well the typical suzuki problems.
I had to change the whole electricals a few weeks ago.
The engine is rock solid reliable.
No problems with the rear brake for me(maybe because I dont use it at ll).
Which one are you looking at?
Post the link from car.gr.(I'm greek too)

Homemade Yoshi box and adaptor.

Yes ,you read it right. You can make a diy yoshi box and plug it to your cagiva. The best part?Costs about 15 euros.Of course depends on how you want to make it,since if you want to make it exactly like the yoshi box ,you need to get a nice casing ,a plug etc.But just for 3-4 uses ,you can use it wi...
