Re: Mods for a life of commuting

Love your work! That does look like it should do the job. I'm still adding extra Rapid Fix every time mine goes with the long-term plan of getting a carbon fibre MV Agusta one when pennies permit. It hasn't gotten to the top of the to-do list yet as it really does seem to be a problem that only happ...

Re: Newby.

Welcome in Trigger, head over to viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4474 although I think they're generally about the 1000s.
The underslung superbike back brake is a pig to bleed on the 1000s, I guess the 650s are the same? I'd start there and then service the caliper.

Re: Airbox mod and where can I get a temperature sensor

Welcome aboard, sorry to hear of the theft. There are plenty of threads discussing airbox mods so give the search function a shot. Have you tried asking your Suzuki dealer for a TL1000S (or SV650) air temp sensor? Always remember she's a japper on the inside! Can't advise on your 3/4 wire problems t...

I love the way you can go to a junkyard for inspiration, shows great initiative.

YOUR Tweety Pie could have its own Viking winged helmet, Ogri always wore it well!

Re: Interchangeable parts

Mr Google tells me that Mr Suzuki used TPS part number 13580-02F00 on the TL1000S and:
GSXR750 96-99 Model W/X
TL1000R 98-03
VL1500/VL1500B Intruder 98-04
DL1000 V-Strom 02-09 + DL1000L2 E28 & E33 models from 2012
Possibly some GSXR600s and VZ800s

Re: V-RAPTOR RBT SPECIAL

The more I look at this, the better it gets. That tail is super-sexy, is it MUCH different to the OEM lines? The way the tail is silver with a black seatpad and gloss black contrasts really accentuates her "figure" I think, or am I rambling again?! Anyway I've poked around a bit more and have found ...

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today

managed to remove Datatool alarm and went for a ride to test plus after learning that I can monitor running temp  (didn't even get a handbook with the bike) have been watching temp while riding with a view to Crap Tartan's notes on curing surge due to low temp. After much riding I can now say ...
