Hi!

I'm looking for Raptor 1000 seat.
Plan is to use it as a base for race-look seat unit. :toocool:

Re: Project Polar-Raptor

I have to wash bike before I can take any detailed photos. :D
But they are coming before winter and snow arrives.

Older Ducati Monsters uses same footpegs as Cagiva Raptor.

Re: Newbie

Because you got xtra you might not have to upgrade your suspension... But black box is the mod to have at least that is my opinion. 8)

Did the xtra ever come with a carbon fibre seat hump? :?
I think Xtra came, but not V-Raptor.

Re: Project Polar-Raptor

When I was playing with handlebars I started to smell petrol... after small search I founded the cause, fuel pump seal has started to leak. Because I needed to remove fuel pump from tank, I thought it would be good time to replace fuel filter also. I was pretty shocked when I removed fuel pu...

Thanks for all your info....
R1 fork exchange I'd be keen to do..but as my forks are adjustable on the extra with a steering damper I'm loathed to change them..especially as I'm a bit of a purist.🐴
Get internals replaced. ;)

Looks like rear brake rotor is pretty unique. Any other doesn't use same rotor. :ouch:

Re: Cagiva V-Raptor 1000 race bike

This will look a bit odd, but shaping the seat to then make a simplified complete part which I can make a fibreglass mould from and produce a few one piece race seats. A small foam pad will act as padding for your buttocks! Plenty more sanding and filling to do though. It will need to be a two part...

Re: Project Polar-Raptor

For handlebar I needed to drill holes for risers. That wasn't a big deal, but I had to go for fatbar risers because I couldn't get normal risers fast enough or they were some kind of China crap. Which meant I couldn't use old handlebar. So I bought LSL x-bar risers, LSL x01 superbike handlebar and L...
