Re: Aprilia swing arm shock choice ? ride Height
You just can't replace your original shock/swingarm with any random shock or swingarm you can find. Things to check when considering swingarm swap: - Rear wheel alignment - Chain/sprocket alignment - Do you want to use original shock/linkage mounting points on frame and original linkage? - Does swin...

Re: Old topic - rear shock sizes
What I’m even less sure about is. Do the shocks remain the same between the years? My bikes build year is 2005, however most parts only ever advertise that they fit 2001-2003. I don't think there is any difference between model years or between std Raptor and V-Raptor. Xtra-Raptor has better suspen...

Re: A Canary Cafe Racer
Riding position doesn't look too bad with clipons.. Do you prefer clipons over normal handlebars?
I like the way you have painted your tank.

Missing screw
Hi,
Looks like I didn't torque my handlebar controls properly because I have lost one screw on throttle hand side.
Can someone measure screws thread length so I can get a new one? I assume thread itself is the same as in others screws.

Re: Project Polar-Raptor
Thanks lads. With so much effort gone into this bike i may have gone with using TLS Yoshimura headers at least, using a tls rear spigot pipe with some minor modifacations for much better exhaust flow, the Cagiva is a bit restrictive imho but overall very nice. You are right, I made current exhaust i...

Why don't you buy sprockets made for Raptor?

Re: Project Polar-Raptor
Bike didn't run well with new exhaust so I took it dyno. Bike runs much better now, but its not perfect. When I made the new exhaust I should have made places for lambda-sensors. It would have made fuel adjusting easier.

Re: Project Polar-Raptor
Of course there wasn't enough space for the stock exhaust so I need to make new one.

Re: Project Polar-Raptor
Then it was time to weld. In pictures you can see new rear shock that I found in ebay. Linkarm is also shorten to keep ride height pretty near where it was with previous setup. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1xNMl_hrejGf65pr6VylTx5zp9wOwGcjS https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1X7Tk0Ikt5eojD2gcgTXnr17YAY...

Re: Project Polar-Raptor
Making some real world measurements and checking that there were enough space for the linkage.
