Re: Fuel tank

You'll find they're rarer than hen's teeth, and undamaged ones even rarer. Mine was damaged in an accident last year and was leaking fuel. I had the option of buying one of the last old stock ones but it turned out to be unpainted. Here's a photo of the damage to mine: https://photos.app.goo.gl/RiMo...

Re: Rap 1000 parts needed: fuel tank, gearchange lever, left footrest

Cheers shebee

I'm Ok thanks, a few aches and pains but a couple of weeks will see it right.

Thanks for the link, I might just order some of those Chinesium ones.

Struggling with the tank, I'll probably have to get a tatty one from eBay and have it painted.

Rap 1000 parts needed: fuel tank, gearchange lever, left footrest

As the title says really, following a low speed excursion last week  , I need some parts for my Raptor 1000...

Looking for a red fuel tank
Gear change lever (it might bend back but could snap)
Left footrest

If anyone knows of any equivalents for the latter two I'd be most grateful

Thanks

Re: Forks wanted

Right, I've had a look and I have a tube in usable condition. Yours for nowt, I'll work out postage this week or you can collect if you're passing.

Sorry for the delay, I've had more time off lately than Clint Eastwood's safety catch.

Wanted RH mirror for standard Raptor 1000

Anyone got a RH mirror for a Raptor 1000? The glass and rubber seal flicked out while I was out yesterday.

Re: Lithium battery

It is the same footprint but isn't as tall - in fact they send spacers with it to make up the difference in the battery box.

I've got these on my Mille and my Benelli Tornado, and they work very well: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70-Less-Weight-than-a-normal-battery-This-is-a-LITHIUM-replace-YTX12-BS/281926108401?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D38661%26meid%3D37409...

Re: 1000 speedo PCB

Could be that it's had a speedo healer fitted but the clock's not had the sticky label put in.

Re: 1000 speedo PCB

I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd let you all know my experiences. My recently-bought 1000 has some kind of speedo healer fitted, together with the ugly dymo tape MPH sticker inside the fascia of the speedo. I thought I'd have a go at converting it to MPH using the links in the post abo...
