Re: Clutch conversion revisited!
Nice job Boof. I am looking into doing mine as new clutch cables are expensive. You say you had to "cut" the pushrod (DL1000 V-Strom left hand push-rod - SUZUKI PRODUCT NUMBER: 2311126D00. I had to cut this item shorter to 114mm, any longer and the clutch will slip.) yet your friend says t...

Long shot I know but does anyone have a spare band off a standard silencer ?
Its the one at the rear of the can that goes over the end of the carbon cover.

Re: Bellypan
TL ones don`t fit without modification.
Downpipes are in a slightly different position and the rear brackets are too short so bellypan fouls exhausts.

Would you believe it.

Re: Leaky rad
Cheers CT. I think that's where I`m gonna send mine.
From the (limited) research I have had time to do they seem to keep coming back up to the top of the list.

Re: Leaky rad
I have to say the quality of users on this site is amazing.
Thank you very much for your kind offer Crap Tartan but I have just found someone on the island willing to do exactly the same thing.
Hopefully mine can be repaired while I`m away so I can give the borrowed one back.
Cheers everyone.

TLS ECU to work on Raptors.
I know this topic has been covered before but after mucho research here is the definitive way to do it. :) First (obviously) you will need to get hold of a `97 TL1000S ECU. Then you will need a 100 ohm resistor, some(at least one)ECU plug pins(female), and a couple of short lengths of wire ...

Re: tl1000s ecu on raptor will work with 1 wire mod :-)
I have just been looking at a wiring diagram for the tls ecu and it lists the A/T pin as No.39 ? Which makes it 4th in from the right, bottom row, right hand(large connector) as you look at the connectors with the connector clips at the top. According to the suzuki FI system diagram pin 40 is part of ...

Re: tl1000s ecu on raptor will work with 1 wire mod :-)
OK,I now have a TLS ecu.
You say fit the resistor onto pin 40(bottom row).
Do you count from left to right in both sockets or one socket at a time?
Cheers,
John.

Re: Will SV1000S engine fit a Rap
Externally they are basically the same, majority of the differences are in the mounting plates.
