Testing the fuel pump
Yeah Trevor. Spark & fuses all good. Bench tested starter motor and relays all good. Looks like I am chasing a faulty contact. Also when I unplugged the fuel feeder hose fuel kept flowing and emptied the tank. Might be a seal at the fuel pump but still like to see if the pump primes.

Testing the fuel pump
You take the feeder hose at the throttle body side and place it in a beaker. By applying 12v on the yellow/black stripe wire at the ecu for 10sec, fuel pump should deliver rate of 168ml over 10sec as per the manual. Also bike not starting so part of elimination is to ensure fuel pump is working by t...

Testing the fuel pump
Hi. How do you apply 12v to the yellow/black wire at the ECU to test the fuel pump?. I tried following the workshop manual but not sure how to pull the yellow/black wire off the ecu to apply 12v.

Re: Front Wheel Removal
Thanks for that Nick. Will give it a go. Guess I can tighten all fork clamp bolts with wheel either lifted or on ground. I replaced every bolt on bike with 316 marine grade stainless. I have had bike since new but stored for 7-8 years. Hope it starts!

Re: Front Wheel Removal
OK. Dumb question. Is the wheel lifted or on ground to tighten bolts on the fork tree? Still can't unlock the axle from bush using Pod's or Nick's advice but will try tightening fork bolts as last chance saloon before taking to a workshop to unsieze.

Re: Front Wheel Removal
Hi Nick. 20200926_223327.jpg I have tried your suggestion but it will not budge. By turning left at the axle nut with pinch bolts loose it pushes the bush to what is on the photo before I have no axle bolt to grip. You might see a little bit of the axle threaded to the bush. When I tighten the pinch...

Re: Front Wheel Removal
Hi everyone. I am stuck in between the recommended practice. The axle is a few threads away from where it is supposed to end, this means I don't have enough to extract the bush to the inner fork. I have tightened pinch bolts on the bush side to get axle back to starting position but it will not move...

Re: Front master cylinder
Hi. Just wondering if its possible to get the piston back to the actuation point in order to bleed the brakes. There is a leak inside the boot which has probably caused the piston to set further in.
Cheers for any advice

Re: Front master cylinder
Very helpful. Not missing anything but definitely have to source oem lever. The aftermarket one I have fits but not flush at the underside.
Thank you for your time and consideration aussiejoe.

Front master cylinder
Hi all. Just like to know how the lever sits on the piston. Is there a spiggot to actuate the piston? I tried looking at the oem fiche suggests no spiggot so maybe in the lever adjustment maybe? Photo of how it sits would be ideal. I took off damaged one ages ago but neglected to note this simple th...
