GiPRO S01 ATRE experiences
Who runs a GiPRO here? What setting do you use and how did you mount it? I got mine second hand and it made my engine run a lot more smooth. I have it set to 6, but I haven't been able to test the other settings yet. I also have it stick on the side with double sided tape. It does the job, but does ...

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
Well, I'm now running a stock mapping and yet it was still a bit weird sometimes. It didn't held in anymore, but when cold it tended to rock up/down a few times. I had this GiPRO S01 with ATRE laying around from a friend of mine and decided to give it a try. That solves about everything, runs even s...

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
Well, after replacing the spark plugs, replacing the fuel pump/filter, cleaning the injectors, still no smooth running machine. Nothing has changed the way it behaves :( So I was already thinking of ordering the spark plug caps as mentioned above and also a new thermostat (as mentioned in another fo...

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
The local dealer advised me CR8EK's as well, so that is what I went for. It also seems that there are no NGK plug caps that are long enough to fit the Raptor/TL1000, so they had to order them (+/- 2 weeks), so I'll first try with the current ones and ordered them anyway. Also cleaned the injectors, ...

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
I found a new one for 75 euro's, since the filter alone is already 39 why not change the whole thing?
Still debating on preventively swapping the spark plug cabs, will this be beneficial without changing the wires as well?

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
So I was smart enough to fill my tank completely before I decided to take it off and replace the fuel filter :happyhappy: So I needed 2 cans to drain all the gasoline (which I wasn't really sure how to do, but disconnecting the return line and all came floating out lol). The gas pump seems to be in ...

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
Thanks for the great advices, definitely helpful! Maybe we shouldn't focus on the 3000rpm level since that was just an example, it also does this at 6000rpm but you can feel it better at lower speeds/rpm's. I forgot to mention that, sorry! When it runs violently it does feel like it's on 1 cylinder....

Re: Stutter and no smooth drive
Thanks for the tip Tartan! I'm just wondering how a smooth running engine can change like that and that I now seem to need to put a resister between two lines of the ECM? Also I only ride at good warm weather, so I'm not sure this is it? By reading your topic I did get an idea that my idle might be ...

Stutter and no smooth drive
As you might know I had a tiny accident where my bike dropped in a corner and I had to fix several thing (such as the footbrake pedal). Unfortunately one thing I haven't been able to fix yet. While I ride with steady gas (let's say 3000rpm in 3rd) the bike now and then feels like it's holding in, an...

Re: Foot pegs
I bought mine on AliExpress: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Front-Footrests-Foot-Peg-for-HONDA-CBR1100XX-CBR900RR-VFR800-CBR-600-F3-F4-F4I-VFR-800/32753206748.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.pTXqWk These fit with the original pins, but the holes in the pegs are a little too big which is not a big issue. ...

Re: V raptor 1000 revival
Now I understand :) A friend of mine has these fork mounts spare, but they are not for sale. I can get pictures/measurements, what details would you like to have? I'm also planning on a full repaint this winter, but I am debating to let the frames and wheels powder coated and to let it professionall...

Re: V raptor 1000 revival
I'm admiring your work! I am just a bit confused, I don't think de V-Raptor uses plates in the forks to mount the headlight, it should be mounted on the frame? Also, the picture you show is not Cagiva. So with what can we help you? :) I was also wondering if you did the varnish on the paint job your...

Re: Rear brake pedal wanted
Bending went easier than I thought it would be, as long as you apply enough heat it suddenly starts to move quite freely to where ever you'd like it to go. As you can see, I am surprised it didn't snap: http://remote.daylights.nl/images/motoren/cagiva/rempedaal/1.JPG http://remote.daylights.nl/image...
