If the extra power though was at the expense of the mid-range then give me less at the top and more in the middle! Having had the R1 for about two months I can tell you whilst it's 'nice' having the extra power. The Raptor engine is good enough for the bike it is. It's not a sports bike, it's a 'hav...

Forgive me, as I have sinned

I've trade the Raptor  I do though now own an R1 And I can safely say. That whilst the R1 is stupidly fast it doesn't make you grin quite like the raptor. I now feel common and fear the throttle. And don't start about the ride to work in traffic. Oh and the gearbox isn't have as sweet as the ra...

Get a Power Commander! Save if you must. But after spending last summer with set-ups via a yoshi box. Whilst I did a pretty good job. Once I got a power commander fitted and had a custom map made up, it made the world of difference. And to be honest yes it makes more power and torque. It's the throt...

ME :D I HAVE ONE!! Put about 8,000miles on it so far. Still feels as fresh as a daisy And if it's good enough for Performance Bike magazine to use, then it's good enough for me! Ok, they use the top of the range model, but apart from the remote adjuster etc the main body seems the same :? The only p...

The word ‘potential’ springs to mind!
Already up on torque, and the fuelling with the TL ecu looks like there’s plenty of tuning that can be done.
Interesting torque and power figure.
The torque on both looks really healthy

So there's no way of adjusting it, so you don't need as much pressure on the rear pedal, for when the brake light comes on?

Rear brake light problem?

I'm having a slight issue with my brake lights. Though whilst I wait for a new switch for the front brake. I'm having to use the rear brake more, so the brake light comes on! I'm not using my bike much as under heavy braking with the front brake the light doesn't appear. But I do need to use my bike...

Leo Vince pipes are pretty expensive aren't they? Not sure other than akro pipes, what you would have bought? Anyway. You'll know whether it needs re-mapping etc. The standard line of. "Get a PC2/3 and dyno time" If it's flaming and popping and banging, or just 'feels' poorly fuelled. Then...
