Tank Specially Designed Support
Hi Andy,
Thank you for the pictures
Would you mind showing them again against a tape measure? And if possible a close-up of the centre piece.
I presume they must store under the seat. I wonder why the centre piece is off-set?
Thanks again.

Tank Specially Designed Support
Hi, The Workshop Manual often states 'Lift and Prop the Tank with the Specially Designed Support'. I am unable to see any pictures in the Manual, or find any pictures with internet searches, of this support and am not sure what it should look like and where it is designed to fit. While I'm working i...

Gear Selector reassembly issues
Hi Andy, Yes the washers sit either side of the (greased :D ) pedal shaft. A Marine engineer friend had a couple that were the right size. I didn't have any that were a good enough fit. I wouldn't have thought that new washers would take up play in a worn bush. A new bush is probably the only feasib...

Gear Selector reassembly issues
Hi Max, Had mine all apart last year (I usually take pictures when taking anything apart). The first new washers I fitted were the right diameter but slightly thicker. This caused the pedal to bind (similar to the issue you described) so it just rang a bell. Nice to have something go wrong that does...

If it's just the Pedal Bolt then you've possibly fitted rubber washers that are too thick.

Raptor Tank material
Hi purgeraptor, Thank you for your reply. I have removed the tank and lined the inner (done around the end of Oct 22). This sees to have gone quite well. I'm not sure of the best way to go about removing the old/damaged paint from outside of the tank before giving it a respray. I'm waiting for the w...

Hi, Although tracing an electrical problem can be daunting if you have little electrical experience, faults can usually be traced by systematically working your way through the system. How did this fault originate (has it been working and suddenly stopped)? Have you identified the Fuel Pump relay? I...

Hi, From the diagram shown. The supply to activate the Fuel Pump Relay is: From the Battery to the Main 30A Fuse. From the 30A fuse to the Ignition switch. From the Ignition switch to another 10A fuse. From this 10A fuse through the Side Stand Relay From the Side Stand Relay to the Engine Stop switc...

Hi, Had another look at the circuit from the manual. I think the tip-over-relay is NOT part of the Fuel-pump Circuit, its a little confusing from the diagram. If this is the case then the power to the pump contacts is: From the Battery to the Bike MAIN fuse 30A. From the Main Fuse to a 10A Fuse (Thi...
