I did the local 'egg run' last easter, less than 20 miles, less than 20 mph but the light came on, how bad is that, usually got about 100 miles to the light if rode staedy. now have a Triumph Daytona 955, that seems to do about 40 per gal

front forks is listed with capacity not air gap, 425cc each leg of SAE7.5 oil. though 10s oil would slow things down a bit.

mmm Looked at Benelli, looks like a great bike, real ugly, looks very well put together, just a bit iffy on the state of the company, mind you that means the bikes will be a bit cheeper. looked at loads of jap stuff on the web yeaterday(all the same), Triumph look good, still keep looking at raptors...

V Raptor gone

With great sadness I watched my V Rap riden off into the sunset last night, must admit the chin was quivering a bit (with that & news af Colin McRae).
Major problem now is what to replace it with, dont want to follow all the sheep, like something different. answers please.

V Raptor 1000, 4k, new tyres, new pads front & rear, new rear disc, fully serviced, new sprockets & chain, cc cans & originals, ect. would have your Hornet, oh yes I am a dealer.

you are welcome to come & have a test ride on my vrap, you would need to have insurance cover, would need to hold on to suitable amount of folding stuff for the duration also.

thanks, star man. got pleanty of m14 x1.25, thats a fairly standard spark plug size (car) even keep the short depth ones. its amazing how some people need to tighten up a sump plug in aluminium so tight, mind you if they were all good I would be out of a job. just bought the vrap at xmas, first 'big...

just wanted to know thread size, have many heli coils from m5 to m16, unf, unt, some whitworth, full range of metric & imperial tapsin different thread forms, full w/shop facilities ect. just though it would have been easier to know while the bike is still mobile.
