Re: Clutch cable repair kit
Hi guys, would anyone know the dimensions of the clutch cable for a Vrap 1000? I was on the phone to Venhill this morning and they don't keep the measurements or part number even though several members here have used them before. V4mp, is the clutch cable on the motion pro website a replacement for ...

Re: New Bike
Hey Mark, How's the new bike? Any pictures? :) By the way I picked up the v rap from Mark's place yesterday and rode it home and was caught out in some pretty big torrential showers - the kind that is so thick that roads flood and you can't see a thing but then it is over in 10 mins. I was half expe...

Re: It's gone
Hi guys,
I am the new owner of Mark's excellent v raptor. I used to own a 650 v raptor and regretted selling it. So I'm happy to be coming back into the fold again! I'll be picking it up this weekend. Looking forward to a great time here!

Faulty fuel tap
Hi guys, My 2000 Vrap 650's fuel tap is not working. I think the diaphragm has clogged up and the fuel won't stop flowing, resulting in a very rich mixture. The engine will run but will eventually die as the mixture becomes too rich. Can't take apart the fuel tap. Does anyone know if the fuel tap fr...

Haynes manual or similar?
Hi there,
Does anyone here have a haynes manual for the cagiva raptor 650? Or something similar like a workshop manual? I need to drain the tank and strip and clean the carbs. Many thanks!

Rear Brake Master Cylinder
Hi there, My Vraptor 650 rear brake master cylinder needs replacing. The mechanic said that it's corroded and is sticking badly. I've already placed an order but it's been a month and a half and the part's still not arrived yet, bearing in mind it's coming all the way from Italy. Anyone here got a s...

Hey guys, Thanks for all your help. The bike is currently in an old style bike garage and the mechanic actually called up MotoGB to get the parts and was told it would take a 'couple' of weeks. So I've told him to go ahead and place an order for the clutch cable for an SV650. Judging from the respon...

Clutch Cable
Hi guys, My clutch cable snapped last tuesday and was stranded on the road. Had to call the RAC to come pick me up. I've been told it will take weeks for a replacement cable from Cagiva. Anyone know if clutch cables from other bikes will fit? I own a 2000 V Raptor 650. Maybe a clutch cable from a SV...

Neighbours
Hi there, I guess quite a few people here have had problems with neighbours complaining about the bikes. Just wondering how abouts do you go around the problem. My landlord has actually suggested to push the bike some distance away and then start it. But I feel that by doing so, I would prob just an...

Well, I've been riding the vrap to work for the past two days and it has been very smooth, even in the rain! I very suprised by this 'jerkyll and hyde' character. You guys are probably right about the carb icing. I guess it only happens in certain environmental conditions. I've just bought some Pro ...

Bad running again!
My 650 V raptor is running very badly again! It seems that every time I come to a stop, be it at a traffic light junction or a round about, it wants to die on me. The revs just drops really low and it just cuts out. The only way out of it is for me to keep the revs above 4000rpm as I come to a stop....
