Re: What did you do to your Raptor today

Good idea to use the lower bracket.
The exhausts can blow off at full throttle without it.

Re: same old same old... the Tyres Question

Did Germany in the wet solo on diamond maxxis and found them ok, however when opening the throttle banked over back end slides out unnervingly until the tyre is completely warmed.
Not as confident as Bridgestone BT016s but lasting longer and no falling off......yet.

I have a power commander fitted and TRE and Kand N Filter and race cans but the PC has not been dynoe...

Unless someone treats me to a trip to the German F1 that weekend (doubtful) I will drag the old beast there. I may even take the bike.

Re: Will I make it to the petrol station?

I have done 10 litres per 100 miles on a steady 90mph cruise 15 litres in a tank gives 150 miles. 130 on normal UK roads general blasting about would have left me pushing it for the last 20 miles. If its about a mile to the petrol pump and you run out in 3/4 of a mile you only have 1/4 mile to push....
