A slosh-around-inside solution I'd think. I've treated several nylon Cagiva tanks with Caswell epoxy to protect the inside against ethanol/petrol degradation, and it works well.

Well done! I wouldn't have attempted that; several of my seats have been modified by professionals and the result is usually an improvement. Were you looking for more comfort, or just a higher riding position? Or both?

I wonder why you decided against the CF ones? I've been down the same route with bits for bikes and decided that the CF stuff can look a bit tarty. It won't work without a dongle, unless it's a very primitive alarm that might have a setting switch. I don't suppose DataTool will be helpful either, you not being the original purchaser.
