Re: Tips for finding spare parts
I wonder how many xtra raptors still have the little plastic bat steering damper cover that sits over the front of the steering damper? I snapped up a new one off ebay for a couple of dollars since my bike did not come with one fitted! :) Also those steering damper clamps if you can find them, may b...

Re: pointless and mundane
Awesome  reading an internet articel on the great "Bazza" , Barry Sheene. I see he also owned a cagiva raptor 1000 and gave the bike a good rap  , pardon the pun. Link for anyone interested, a good read. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2000/july/fancy-going-for-a-blat-b...

Re: Origin of Parts
Welcome mate, i wouldn't hesitate in saying for most i beleive the main attraction to this bike is the stonking suzuki tl1000s engine and that goes also for the suzuki sv650 motor found in the 650 raptor as well. Electrics mainly born from the TL including switchblocks etc ,ecu almost the same as TL...

Re: Clutch diagnosis? ??
I use a semi synthetic ,the recommended 10/40 mineral but i wouldn't go with a full synthetic with these clutches as i remember there being issues as discussed on other forums with full synthetic. imho

Re: Side Stand Mod
I bought the clutch cover secondhand hand from the uk, i think originally it came off a raptor but you can find them by googling suzuki tl1000 clear clutch cover. The outer part and oil filler bolt were originally anodized blue which came off pretty easily.

Re: Side Stand Mod
I will get some more photos of its more photogenic side  . I try to keep the bike as original looking as possible as i already like the xraptor but not the oem exhaust and blinkers so much. The exhaust is not in its original form, when i purhased the exhaust system it came with low level pipes...

Re: Has my 650 rappi been lowered?
I doubt it, probably just a combination of saggy rear shock and low standard ride height, after all it was made in Italy. I think it was designed for a certain market , those that are more vertically challenged  New shock would be a good start or change the triangles. Ah i just read its not the...

Re: Xtra Rap Suspension
No worries mate,as you would have gathered , the top pick is for the rear shock. I am going to give these setting a go also ,will be interesting to see how it feels since i have never adjusted to standard setting although i think the rear shock sag is about right, front always seemed to hard but i gu...
