Re: Silent Sprockets
Hmm, interesting concept, but I, for one, wasn't aware that transmission noise was a problem looking for a solution! They do look nifty though, I'll give them that. I see they do them for a 'Busa so it sounds like one could be made to fit a rap. Are they made of ergal, or what? An ergal rear is on m...

Re: What steering damper
My steering damper is off for servicing, and I'm noticing this a lot while running without one. I'm too short to consider jacking up the rear but I'm nearly sure I'm gonna drop the front by a couple of mm to hopefully achieve similar results before the damper goes back on. But I'm flat out dealing w...

Re: What steering damper
I've only ever had two tankslappers (Kawasaki ZZR600 and Ducati 620ie) and never ever want to experience one again so for me steering dampers and fully-comprehensive insurance are hotlist items. There used to be a few Raptor-specific ones but the only one I can see now is http://www.igt-parts.de/Cag...

I think she looks great with her bum up in the air like that and reckon you should 'fighter her - cafes are nice but all the hipsters are ruining that niche for me.

Re: The Big Bike Transporter
Sweet, nice toys! I could see myself getting a BMW trike when my knees and ankles start to fail :D But if you think it's hard to manoeuvre the big boy you should try reversing a road train when it's got two trailers on the back, that's not for the faint-hearted but is wonderfully satisfying when you...

Bling-bling, nice!
But methinks you need to spend more time riding and less time washing.

Re: Race engine cases
I've only ever seen a CF cover like this, not sure if it would give you much protection though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271953923445

Re: Fuel Pump Gasket Question
I think that most of us usually reuse the old gasket, despite Mr Suzuki's suggestion to always change it, he's not as strapped for cash as we are. Unless it's totally knackered a smear of fuel-safe gasket dressing like Hylomar Blue does the job quite nicely. If you're keen to get her on the road aga...

Good to hear that no real harm was done or excessive expense incurred, those are always the best life lessons. I might have a look for this hose when I'm looking for my siamese bits, knowledge is power, as they say.
