Re: Clutch diagnosis? ??
Good news! -//- By the way, is there a mileage on these motors where they seem to free off and sing even better? 25K is the bed-in figure for decent Ducati engines as in the ST series My word it's such a long time ago I hardly remember, 7k for bedding in, but 16k for some singing I think (it was a ...

Re: Clutch diagnosis? ??
Sounds^ about right if my memory serves correctly, how's the cable? Does that maybe need a dab of three in one? Yes my clutch is a tad stiff but I reckon it's the cable on mine possibly needs another new one. I reckon half the problem is that your bike hasn't got to real run-in mileage yet, it's onl...

Re: New boy
The listing might show a 12 for the thou but mine always had a 9 and is about to get another since the motobatt smaller sized yellow job isn't too well Can't see why the 9 shouldn't be just fine, but 650 owners will know better. And you might have a job getting the seat to fit as the battery will be...

Re: Rectifier regulator
Thank you, I sort of thought that might be best, just that a new battery is sitting on the kitchen counter glowering at me and waiting to get going.... rubber gloves for those delicate connections sounds a good plan

Re: new gear lever assembly
Does anyone know if this part is generic with any other bike???..must be something out there that has parts in common?? :? When I had a broken 'dogleg' link I tried using the Suzuki part (for the TL) but it was angled wrong. It seems you'd need a complete remake of the lever, joints and links not s...
