Re: Cheaper OEM parts from France (helps for Aussies)

Yeah mate, I live on the Redcliffe Peninsula on the north side. Currently doing up my Raptor and repainting/powdercoating everything, replacing all bearings as well as overhauling all the brakes. Not touching the motor at the moment, just soda blasting it and painting it satin black. Been doing a lo...

Was told by a MV Agusta dealer here in Australia that if it's a factory back order, you probably won't be able to get it.

Re: Cheaper OEM parts from France (helps for Aussies)

Saw you were looking for one of those chain buffers, I got one off Feeney about 18 months ago ONTRACK. I've got my 650 fully dismantled at the moment if you want dimensions for it to cut one out of rubber. I missed your post the other month about rear sprockets, MetalGear have sprockets for Raptors,...

Cheaper OEM parts from France (helps for Aussies)

The Big Bike Transporter

The Boss at last has given me the big truck to drive, the truck (lorry) I used to drive is the one on the left, the big "boy" is the one on the right. 10523872_666258096833291_1387535167370833420_n.jpg The cab is very high, and a long climb up, overall height is 4.3 metres and 18 metres lo...

That's limited to an hour of riding!
Have done 650km in a day on my Raptor solo, but I won't want to go any further than that!

2015 Harley Street Glide Review

Ended up doing about 1200 kilometres in 2.5 days on the Harley Street Glide I hired. Picked it up with 870km on the clock. First Impression I put the Missus on the back and we went for a cruise along the esplanades, beach heads and through the city. The 103 cubic inch motor pulls well, you just want...

Re: New australian importer

Paul Feeney was the importer prior to that, he stopped being the importer about 5 or so years ago. He had the Triumph, Ducati, Mv Agusta/Cagiva shop on Lawrence Drive at Nerang on the Gold Coast and sold it at the same time. One of the customers of the company I work for that sells jet skis on Brisb...

Re: I'm hiring a Harley, please don't think of me differentl

Just getting everything powder coated and painted on my bike, bit of a clean up on the motor and maybe the 650 cam swap, just hard finding time when I'm working 6 days a week, and only home a few days a week. Spoke to a bloke that had a Buell and he didn't like it. The boss has seen the new Eric Bue...

Re: I'm hiring a Harley, please don't think of me differentl

If I ever hear anyone harping on about how great Harleys are, I like to ask them why did Harley Davidson want to buy MV Agusta/Cagiva in 2009 :? I don't like them, but I thought I'd hire one just for something different........because at the moment, my Raptor isn't going too far!
