Re: Exact engine model?
I seem to recall that there was a shim or something got renewed at about the 60k point but cams .. I don't think there were any swapped out.
Now you mention oil change I must haul my idle self out to compete that task.
Amazing how the miles rack up when you're having fun ain't it?

Re: Exact engine model?
Good to have the part numbers listed up, thank you!
Lor I remember that 04 thread .. and being concerned about the 60k comment. Having passed that by some I'm wondering under what circumstances 60k was a turning point, and decided its just the 'bedded in' point

Re: OIL or 710 for the ladies
I've always used a 10W40 Semi Synthetic in the V Raptor, I've never had an Xtra but I did think they were all but the same engine so I'd use the same oil. It seems odd that the manual should suggest a different weight.

Re: 5 years and counting
Happy Rappy Anniversary Congratulations
(now get those bits put back together )
I'd have to look up the dates, but mine's been with me since '02 I think. Only recently chanced to meet up with her first owner again, nice happenstance.

Re: High mileage raptors
After a bit of a glitch with my computerised technicality I'm allowed back on forums wahay! To announce (being a tart and all, plus it's the only thing I can brag about) That The Rappy :revrev: has exceeded the very pretty 111111 on the clocks, now it's 112012. I do take pics but no idea h...
