Re: 2006 RSV swingarm
I`m sure its been done before, just keep searching. Mine is an earlier RSV conversion (rounded swinger) rather than the later more boxy one? Remember any guide you get you need to take into account the mods you have already done as you will not be going from standard. Luckily most of the metal remov...

Re: PC3 fitted by BSD Performance Peterborough
Looks good those results, so your 3k glitch should now be a thing of the past!
Although the PC3 is a much more expensive way to sort out that problem it does give so much more too!

Re: Swing arm conversion
A fair number of people on here have done this upgrade using differant swingarms and stuff. Use the searc function and have a good read of many of the stories and guides. If you are a reasonably able mechanic and not scared to use a grinder on your bike then go for it! Well worth it in the end if on...

Re: Air box mod
Looked at that years ago and didnt feel it would make much differance and weaken the airbox considerably and give a chance for water ingress at the top of the airbox. What I did do to improve airflow was fit TLR fairing air ducts/snorkels then cut them down and put grill on them. An easy cheap mod t...

Re: Led bulbs
You can get plug in replacement indicator bulbs but will need ballast resistors or wont flash correctly due to low current draw. Rear LED bulbs/lights work much better but headlight replacement is more difficult and more expensive for anything thats going to give you decent light. Dont go cheap on h...

Re: TPS help needed
Bridging it allows you to set it up using the lcd display on the dash, it can also be done without bridging and using a multimeter instead which can be far more accurate. The idea is to synchronise the throttle opening with the electronics that control the fuelling to your throttle bodies. Once set ...

Re: Winter battery care
If it's not going to be used for a long period, remove battery and charge it with a low current charger(less than 1amp) until it is fully charged. Then disconnect, leave in a warmish, dry room and check the voltage every 3/4 weeks, it should only drop a very small amount. When you plan to use bike a...

Re: Side Stand Mod
I took my sidestand off, cut the foot off, ground away about 15mm from the stand and welded the foot back on!
smoothed it all off and worked perfect. once new paint on it couldnt tell it had been messed with.
I no longer have it fitted as I have a sidecar on the bike these days
