Re: A Canary Cafe Racer

The Darmah is the bike that I nearly bought in 1978. But with clip ons I couldn’t reach the bars comfortably as my boobs were in the way  . I then got distracted by chops and other vtwins didn’t get my first Ducati until last year!

Re: Re home of an abused Navi?

Ahhh possible language confusion... Part ex here means part exchanging, selling the bike to the dealer you are buying the next one from not breaking it for parts. Im not getting involved in breaking it and selling the bits.

Re: Re home of an abused Navi?

I think the desire is fuelled less by decrepitude (although it is a factor) and more by WANT! Once we are able to go out and play we will see what takes his fancy and if anyone will part ex the navi.

Re home of an abused Navi?

With advancing age and health complications Significant other is contemplating a slightly smaller bike (Scrambler envy?) is anyone vaguely interested in a slightly scruffy Navigator in the uk. If so I will get all the details together, no panic as we are locked down anyway!

Re: A sad case?

Not sad at all! I am feeling so guilty about not taking the Ducati out, I always tell her ‘soon’ as I get the Grom out to do the essential shopping run... the scrambler got a new screen and panniers for Christmas and I haven’t had a chance to test them since, so sitting on it and going “duga duga” m...
