Re: Xtra Raptor Trike

 An Xtra Trike ??!!

How VERY dare they!!!

Seriously though, it IS nice, but Ten and a half grand's worth of nice?? Naaaaaah..

The low mileage (5-speed??) Xtra Raptor accounts for around 4 grand of that, so £6,500 for an arse end then

Re: V raptor tuning

Hello mate, welcome.
If you can see open trunking on both sides it means someone has removed the snorkels (forward facing rubber ducts which don't really do anything). Don't worry about it, it won't hurt your beastie.

Any suzuki TL based bellypan will fit, a firm favourite is from the SV1000.

Re: Been caught speeding. Allegedly!

Looks to me like he has no proof to prosecute you with, so he's trying to get you to admit it anyway. :naughty: If ever a copper asks if you know how fast you were going, the answer is NOT that you don't know!! That just leaves a nice gap for him to fill in. They have to prove your guilt or it...

That would have been Tony (Mighty Mariner) from Cleethorpes.

He used to frequent these hallowed pages quite a bit.

"Bone anchored hearing aid" , ...Sounds like rhyming slang for a hearing aid that doesn't work.

There is one Dizz, but it's actually part of the toolkit.

...Err, no, I don't know if it's any good. I never used mine  I have a piece of wood bound with rags at either end (like a big Prince Charles Q-tip) that I use as a prop.

Re: Steering shakes at high speed

Explain to me please what do you mean by "Do you have the forks too far up through the yokes?" My English are not the best! The forks could have been pulled up through the yokes at some point, lowering the front end (it's usually done to quicken the steering), but if adjusted too far the ...

Re: Steering shakes at high speed

If your tyres are ok then you should maybe check out the suspension. Are the wheels aligned correctly? Have your forks been leaking at all ? What about the rear end? Raptor suspension bushes seize very easily if not maintained. Rear shock ok? Do you have the forks too far up through the yokes? Any o...
