Re: Interchangeable parts
Mr Google tells me that Mr Suzuki used TPS part number 13580-02F00 on the TL1000S and:
GSXR750 96-99 Model W/X
TL1000R 98-03
VL1500/VL1500B Intruder 98-04
DL1000 V-Strom 02-09 + DL1000L2 E28 & E33 models from 2012
Possibly some GSXR600s and VZ800s

Re: V-RAPTOR RBT SPECIAL
The more I look at this, the better it gets. That tail is super-sexy, is it MUCH different to the OEM lines? The way the tail is silver with a black seatpad and gloss black contrasts really accentuates her "figure" I think, or am I rambling again?! Anyway I've poked around a bit more and h...

Re: What did you do to your Raptor today
managed to remove Datatool alarm and went for a ride to test plus after learning that I can monitor running temp  (didn't even get a handbook with the bike) have been watching temp while riding with a view to Crap Tartan's notes on curing surge due to low temp. After much riding I can now say ...

Re: Tyre advice
I was under the impression that OEM rubber was Bridgestone, but maybe not on the 650s. I'm very happy with the Bridgies on my '04 Xtra, the recent T30s that replace the old BT23s give me a stupidly large number of miles under normal load. Sports/touring tyres are better for me than the super sticky ...

Re: Raptor 1000 consumption
What fuel are you using? Mine seems to get MUCH better mileage out of 95 RON as compared to 98 RON, I've been told that "95 burns better" down here. I do throw in injector cleaner now and again, given that the 95 blends don't have the added detergents and stuff that the premium-priced 98s ...

Re: Timing Retarder Eliminators - (TRE)
There are probably heaps of different ones out there, some probably work better than others, you could always try it without it (if you have little fingers to get at it) and see if it is making a difference.

Re: Manual has too much Manuel
Dude, what have you been smoking, and can I have some?! You forgot to warn them about the dropbears. 8) Anyway I think all of the manuals have that section in Italian only, have you tried looking at the corresponding section in a TL1000S manual? I was forced to turn to the TL manual today to see wha...
