Re: going to sell my baby
It's sad but you've gotta do what's best. You looked after it all this time and had a blast, sell it on and let someone new experience the fun! I once waited years and years to afford a brand new V-max, two years later we just plain ran out of money, had to sell it. Very sad at the time but now havi...

Re: bike's got the horn
Ooops, forgot to say headlight/horns came from top bloke wheelie merchant jim http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=3153 Crash bungs are massive, RH side one has step/cutaway for the radiator hose, LH one is full-on huge! They were on the bike when I got it, RH one ha...

Looks wicked, just like the designer wanted.

Re: Please ID this electrical gizmo
Mmm, Googling the part number (18590-80C50) turns up this page http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/content/pages/shop/parts/Suzuki/TL/TL1000R/W-K2%201998-2002/tl1000rthrottlebody/1.htm which suggests it's an air pressure sensor (item 37), somethinhg to do with the throttle body. Still looks like it ne...

Please ID this electrical gizmo
Under the seat on my rappy thou along with the relays and fuses is a mystery electrical box. It has two bolt holes so it looks like it should be screwed to something and it has a short "prong" that looks like a sensor that should be inserted into something. It's just loose under the seat, ...

Re: TRE help please..
Not sure about this TRE business.... The bike is definitely smoother without it but seems to lack a bit of ultimate power with the very quick getaways from standstill. Installed it all gets a bit lumpy but *feels* quicker without actually getting anywhere faster. Oddly the fuel economy ...

Re: TRE help please..
Hi Brutas, got mine in the post this morning. Bazzywazz's instructions are dead on, look behind the air in snorkel on the right hand side of the bike and you'll see the male/female triangular connector that you open up and put the TRE in line instead. Have put mine on and going out for a long ride t...

Oil weep from gear selector, need to be worried?
Tonight after riding home (20miles) and pulling up on the driveway I noticed some brief smoke coming from the left hand side of the bike by the footrest. Jumped off to take a look and it seems that there is a minor oil weep from the gear selector where it pokes out from the crank case which is creep...

I like them a lot, they look super tidy, well made and totally in keeping with the bike. They look practically OEM in the pictures, good work.

Does anyone think this is worth bidding for?
Rappy exhaust, looks in poor shape but I'm getting a bit worried about spares down the line!
