Post by norrie »

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get good Cagiva decals from?

I bought stick on 'cagiva' decals via e-bay , but they are a little smaller than the originals I think (I just had 'raptor' on the tank and got sick of people asking what it was  )

Ace at 'Ace of Sprays' in Bristol put the sigils on mine when he painted her, so am guessing they must be available somewhere - or contact him

When I dumped my plate light for on-plate LEDs I bought some silver ones from France, printed to a specific size - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270561308265 - they were slightly too large when they arrived so I contacted him and he reprinted and re-sent them, they arrived quickly and seem good quality.

If you search fleabay for "Cagiva sticker" you'll fine OEM ones at a not-too-outrageous price, as well as some aftermarkets, I'm in the shed today so will work out your sizes.

The roundel seems to be about 3.5cm to my eye..no use in me measuring my Xtra Raptor logo methinks.

But fleabay suggested this to me, might be exactly what you're looking for! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250612781547

Spotted this today, not too dear, I'm sure they'd be persuaded to post to you, or I'd be happy to forward it. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281204969727
[BTW shebee, your avatar always looks upside down to me, surely it should be pictured from the rider's point of view?!]

PFG seem to be clearing out a lot of stuff so checkout their other items for other rarities. I'd invest in some OEM cables at the prices they're asking, if I had a job!

I decided not to add any decals on the tank just now but just might add the round one on top of the tank.

For those who want the dimensions for the decals,I found them here
http://www.onlinedekor.hu/lang-en/motor ... aptor.html
Logo: 3,6x3,8cm
Cagiva: 23x2,5cm
Raptor: 9,5x0,8cm
Foil: 27,5x12cm
I can confirm that they are correct as I measured mine ,since I painted the fuel tank.

Unfortunately not.
These will propably have to be custom made at a sticker shop.
Someone who owns a v raptor, should measure the dimensions however.
