Thinking about getting an abba superbike stand but do you have to remove the footpeg mounts to take off the swing arm spindle covers or can you just take them off ?

the rubber covers that go over the swingarm mounts will just pull off without removing anything.

I have an abba stand and it works great with my Rap, can work front or back very easily.

Double check that you have it adjusted so that the stand will clear the gear change lever and rear footbrake levers BEFORE you haul the bike off the ground! 
As I recall, once the stand has been used once, it is only the gear change lever clearance that has to be checked.
