Anyone would think you lot were excited! :haha:

I've yet to dig out the tent from under a big pile of stuff next door, tailpack from somewhere upstairs, and the bike......its here somewhere too, hidden under a massive pile of wood!

We should be over about mid-morning/lunchtime, depends on what time we get up, if I get home early enough on Friday (working in Helston, so will probably be late home) I might even finish off cleaning the Xtra.

But she's covered in mud and sawdust, its like looking at the equivalent of tar and feathers!!

Besides, if she's cleaned of that you might not notice how rotted she's got ::'(

The weather forecast for the weekend is looking promising :P...it's been a few years since we've had such a two-wheel friendly forecast leading up to this event.

Norrie has our mobile number and I've PM'd Martin the number. We'll call in to see you at the campsite on Friday afternoon or evening just to make sure everything's OK.

For Saturday, just a quick reminder that we ask you to have the exact admission money available when you arrive at the Aviation Centre on your bikes - it helps us on the gate and speeds up your entry to the event. If you're arriving in a group please nominate one person to collect your money before you arrive.

If you're walking round for breakfast at 9.30 ish on Saturday then you don't have to pay any admission charges to get into the cafe. We'll be on the gate from around 9.00 am.

Admission charges:

In memory of Emma, all females on bikes (either as riders or pillions) get in free.

Adults £7.00 - £2.00 of which goes to Em's Charity.
Senior Citizens - £6.00
Children (6- 15 yrs) - £3.00
Under 5's - free

I wish you all a fantastic weekend and the weather looks set to be good. Wish I could have come over but it's the Staffordshire bike show and me and rappy have a stand with the curvy riders (my chance to show off my bike :D ) :D

Have a fab time :D

I should be there by about 5 or 6pm.
So whats the plans on Friday night do you guys fancy going to the Red Lion? It's about 2 Miles away so I don't know if you fancy taking the bikes having a meal then coming back for some cans at the campsite or getting pissed there and walking back? I suppose it depends on the weather.

hmmm according to 'yell' the Red Lion is 6 miles away
and the nearest chippy closes at 8

but then I may be wrong about where the campsite is - may have to check before I set off

I have had my Dad checking out the area and he reckons there is a little Bateman's pub about 400yards from the aviation centre just past the camp-site - think he said that was the Red Lion as well - although Lincolnshire does have its fair share of Bateman pub cause the brewery is local. The Mermaid in Horncastle is a really good chippy, frequented by a lot of the local bikers and is only about 10mins ride. If you go up to Revesby then Horncastle the road looks quite good.

My little rappy is all clean and ready to go - have to make sure I'm there before toh so I can get a good seat to supervise the tent erection  (have learnt very quickly I only get in the way, so I'm better off looking pretty & telling him where to put it!)

Be good to catch up with everyone again and sooooo looking forward to it as we may have got the weather on our side - well until someone opens the garage door - WEIRDO!!!!!!!

hoping be there early afternoon :happyhappy:

The Red Lion is a Batemans pub and I think it's the closest but could be wrong.
