Looks nice!

Good facilities and nearby shops/pubs etc make it a goer but cant get the price page to come up???

Its less than 20 miles shorter for me (exactly 300 miles) than East Kirkby so not much in that really.

How far was east Kirkby from you southerners anyway?

I am up for having another Raptor weekend wherever it is (within reason) and noticed they have some biggish (compared to ours) ones on the continent!!

It just looked like a nice venue that needed sharing

Prices are here
http://plattsfarm.com/prices-and-availability/

East kirkby is around 200 from us, 220 from Lesley and 180 from Snappy. This one is 310/350 from us depending on route and involves all the way round the m25  , add 20 miles for Lesley and about 240 total for Snappy.

At the moment until i have knee replacements there is no way i can ride that far on Raptor or HD so it would be in the van and so not a problem. After replacements is an unknown

As to the european gatherings they do look well attended but ours are small and perfectly formed... and dont require much organisation... as you know we just ring Julie and say we are coming and to tell the landlord to make PIE! :tada:

We have managed 2 in a year but this year seems to have slipped, i am up for one next year if you lot dont book other holidays to clash  ! Xx

Do we have any Welsh riders here! Bristol? Any interest from that side of the country?

we might do a jaunt up that way later in the year and if so i will report back :woot:

Yeah I could handle that. It's 260 MIles for me so 10 less than East Kirby although that doesn't include taking the scenic route.
Set a date and see what people say. It is better if I know by January as I can then book it off before any other bugger takes the same dates.

I have had my op and cannot ride the raptor (yet!) so i am not planning anything , but if you fancy organising a meet just post up a location and date and see what responses you get.

I don't mind giving them a buzz and try to reserve something.
When are people thinking of doing this, and what sort of numbers are we talking?

We always used to do a gathering 3rd weekend of july i think. Numbers at Lincolnshire were usually between 8 and 12 people so not huge, but the move to the other side of the county might had an effect higher or lower!

Please note that I haven’t been to this site so am only suggesting from the website! We usually did pub food and beer on the friday and bbq and beers at the site on the sat night. Maybe be worth asking if they have a bbq we can use?
