It's still early, pretty warm and before lunch so I'll just have a bitter shandy.

Superb, three out of three is pretty damn good with these old 'uns. No advisories either?

And no advisories... but a hint on a couple of bits for next year :suspect: i think he was so astounded that we had fitted brakes to the HD... nice 4 pot and a new disk on the back that it flustered him :nerner:

Oops! This thread prompted me to look up the paperwork on my Raptor and the MOT expired this Friday. Still, it's going to sail through, I'm sure...

Nick, who first rode raptor996's bike above, and thought "interesting": must get me some of that...

OK, so my Raptor did pass its MOT yesterday, the only query being the defunct number-plate light. Those things are so far out of mind that I never thought to check, and my usual MOT man never bothers with them. Anyway, remembering from here (?) that its a push-in fitting, we popped another bulb in and it was a good job done!

The new MOT chap is a good buddy for servicing my car, and is maybe more up-to-speed with the bike MOT regs as he's relatively recently started doing them. (He rides a 1200 Multistrada and a big Honda naked) He also confirmed that number plate lights must be white, not red overspill from a nice strong red LED tail/stop bulb. He also noted that my prized radiator screen was going rusty, so that's the last time I buy 'stainless' mesh from THAT company! :naughty:

Anyway, I got the pass and a nice ride to confirm my pleasure in riding the Raptor. As a reward for it, I'm edging towards getting Matris suspension front and back!

As per usual form, the drinks are on me...

I will have a cider please as mine has passed its mot with no advisories.
Which means my mot tester has the following-
Poor eyesight
No sense of feeling in his hands
Ears that are borderline
Not even sure about his sense of smell
But impeccable taste
