Just had this bit of dog-leg linkage break, (no idea what it's called) ok mileage and such I should expect things to break. :( But this one manifested when starting the bike to ride away from a mate's house! so there she stays until I can get a replacement. The local Suzuki dealer has ordered one for the TL for me, which should arrive thurs or friday, :pinch: , the parts diag showed an item that looked the very same.
I've searched on the onlineness since I got home but can't find anywhere listing a cagiva part

waiting with trepidation now :|

I looked and looked some more at that site Krasi, and couldn't anywhere find the gear lever or linkage, internal gear shift is there but I can't find the lever or linkages.

 thanks Bfef it certainly is - I just never thought of looking in the brakes section :o , it's a relief to find it available - in case the suzuki part isn't right.

With thanks to 'Shinybike Syndrome Newbury' (Nooj) the TL part has been 'persuaded' to fit and work :pinch:

Also thanks to Bfef and Krasi, have ordered the cagiva part from OEM
postage is Oh My GOsh!!, I could probly get a ferry ticket for less, but WTF

The current gear lever was slightly bent and I recently got a newer one via €bay, so when the parts arrive the newer lever can go on at the same time.

Currently the gear lever feels stiff and is slightly 'inwards' which is putting me old knees outta joint, first time in history that the Raptor has been hard work to ride :(

 for the first time since redundancy I decided 'sod it, it's going on the credit card' and of course I can blame you  'cos you found the item ;)

Am sure there's more that I'll need soon  things are wearing out (both on me and the Rap)

I had the same problem with my crashed Raptor. OEM motorparts certainly has it, but it's not cheap. Can it be welded? I got mine welded up by a local sheet metal workshop. So far it has held together fine (touch wood)

Welcome in Hairy_Mark :)

Glad you got yours fixed ok  am not sure mine could be welded as it was the section that fits on the gear splines that had cracked, however with much twiddle and tweak I've managed to get the (bent) gear lever action longer so it's not painful, I wasn't on hand when matey fitted it, and had to dash off quick, or I would have adjusted it at the time.

I've ordered the parts (am having one of those 'spending' months :ouch: frankEvans it's not a tax/insurance month too :pinch: )

well it's a 'kin good job the suzook part is doing the job, just had another email from OEM
first they said 15 days, then they said 3rd Aug, today they said they'll be sending it 11th Aug.
If they've ordered it from Italy I'm hoping it's already in transit to them, as my original Cag dealer said Cagiva closes for the month of August :suspect:

wouldn't mind quite so much if they didn't already have my money

At least with the OEM stuff you know it's going to fit right on no problems.
I'm still waiting for a couple of exhaust seals, like you ordered in July, maybe I'll get mine tomorrow!
