Raptors are pretty solid bikes, there are issues with rear breke though.
I can't remember anything else. Check that bodywork isn't broken, new fairings might be hard to find.

Hello.
Well the typical suzuki problems.
I had to change the whole electricals a few weeks ago.
The engine is rock solid reliable.
No problems with the rear brake for me(maybe because I dont use it at ll).
Which one are you looking at?

With the amount of rust on that frame around the number the one thing you need to do is check the fuel tank drain isn't blocked, the information is here http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... ain#p36848

If you need to replace the battery, get a YTX12-BS (12amp/hour) or a YTX14 (14a/h). Cagiva specify a YTX9-BS (9a/h) but the Suzuki model has the 12. I found after a while I had trouble starting my 650 carby model with a 9a/h battery so went to the 14 a/h and fixed the problem.

A parts list is also handy to have, you can get one for your bike from here http://img.webike.net/sys_images/genuin ... 0-2005.pdf
