Windshield

Post by Dante »

I'm thinking of installing a windshield.
Something like this

or this

The first one is shorter but I like it more.
The second one is too big I think.Although the second one will surely make a better job.
Do you think that the short one will make a difference?
What I want is to help a bit with the wind at the chest and at great speeds when I duck ,to flow the air to the helmet.
Note that I have removed the little fairing that came with the bike

I put a little one on mine shortly after i bought it and it gave a nasty head shake at "speeds in excess" ... So i took it off!

Yes something like the first one, I'm 5ft 6 . But it only cost me a fiver from an autojumble, in the way of things I think it is still in the "spares" heap in the loft 8)

Made a custom one,about 33cm long.
Came out a bit higher than I expected but it's pretty nice and does a good job.
