Looking for a brake pedal

Post by dvh »

Hey guys,

I am the proud owner of a raptor 650ie from 2007 but unfortunately I dropped the bike and the end of the brake pedal snapped off :( I still have the part that broke off but glueing or welding is not an option since the pedal bent quite a lot before it broke. I have been looking all over the place for a replacement pedal and found one in an Italian webshop but a few days after I ordered it they informed me they didn't have it in stock after all. Does anybody know where these can be found?

Thanks!

We may have a second hand part (Australia). Let me know if you're interested and we can discuss cost/post.

I think it matches with the raptor 125.
I would search however and from other bikes.
These should be one that matches.

Yes I'm pretty sure the same pedal is used for the Raptor 125, 650, 650ie and 1000. Manufacturer part number 800095546. Still can't get a hold of it though!

Lexio62 I sent you a PM.

Hi all,

I find myself in the same situation as the OP. The best I could find is an eBay listing from Italy that doesn't ship to Australia. Hoping there is a better way - @Lexio62 @Crap Tartan would you happen to still have the spares mentioned a few years ago lying around? Any other thoughts greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
PK

Thank you for the offer @shebee, much appreciated. I'll explore a few more angles but if all else fails will gratefully take you up on it.

And right on queue a fresh listing popped up on eBay tonight! :tada: Another Italian wrecking shop but this one posts to Australia. Fingers crossed I should see the pedal in about a month.

Thanks again @shebee and @Crap Tartan for your responses.

Cheers,
