12 Volts - Gear Indicator - Paging Ozzraptor!!!

Post by HiFi »

Hello, trying to fit a GIPro gear indicator to the bike, failing :(

Need a 12 Volt wire that's switched with the ignition but stays on with the kill switch.

There's a tiny review from Ozzraptor on the GIPro site so I guess he's fitted one OK - how did you do it?

Instructions say use brake light +ve but none of the contacts on the rear brake light give 12V unless brake light is on.

Help please!!

Ozzraptor took his 12v from the fusebox. Took a link from the protected side of the ignition fuse and success, gear indicator installed and working. Thanks for help!
