Good moring.
Iam new to all this and iam hoping sombody can help.
Ive bought a set of leo vince pipes for my 1000 raptor, i was a bit disapointed by the sound i wanted somthing a bit louder, i know i should have spent more money!!
With theses cans ive bolted the end off and slid out a baffle. the pipes ar now much louder,
My question is will this have any bad effects on my bike?
thanks

Leo Vince pipes are pretty expensive aren't they? Not sure other than akro pipes, what you would have bought?
Anyway.
You'll know whether it needs re-mapping etc. The standard line of. "Get a PC2/3 and dyno time"
If it's flaming and popping and banging, or just 'feels' poorly fuelled. Then yeah. You'd be better going the dyno route. But if it simply just sounds loud (Sounds good doesn't it!!! ) Then i'd be tempted to leave it be
Me I went the Dyno route. But then huge flames were firing from the back on the over-run. Looked cool, but i'm not sure how the engine felt about it!
For peace of mind. Just get a dyno run. Most places are £30. Tell you how the fuelling is, and whether extra work is needed.
Of course if you get it on the dyno. Get a print out and post it on here!!!
