Gear linkage

Post by Sgt. Fatknacker »

Hi all, just had a great larf, had to ride 30 miles home in 6th after the linkage decided to snap !
Does anyone know if the one off a TL 1000 r will fit ? I'm pretty sure that the splines will be ok, it's just the lever pivot diameter ( I should be able to bush this if needed), but I'm not sure of the length of the adjustment rod.

Thanks all in advance :D

Thanks very much for the offer, but I popped down to my local breakers and rifled through his Suzuki bits. Found a splined arm that (almost) fitted perfectly, a little fettling and hey presto, all sorted, and for the princely sum of a fiver :D
