Re: Invite ...
oops I didn't realise you'd replied Raptorman.
The ride on the Saturday, usually kicks off from the campsite around 10am. We're having a meeting tomorrow as it happens, so I shall make sure its brought up. Bearing in mind the numbers of folk that turn up for the ride, it will be all day Taking in pitstops along the way.
Anyone interested in coming, upto press the B&B on site is fully booked, but there are one or two bunkhouses available if theres a group who want to share. If you wish to camp, DO NOT book in advance, as to waiver the pesky 'tent charge' we have a group booking and will be collecting monies on arrival. I usually wear a tshirt with my username on it, so you won't be able to miss me.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions BTW.

Anyone turning up for this?
I need an idea, as I'm preparing to feed 100 or so BBQ loveliness on the Saturday night, and might need to go shopping! Also how much pennies I need off the masses to pay for it

I'm fighting for a weekend pass - will try to get up, but don't add me to your bbq shopping list DB just in case.

Re: Invite ...
oh wow, I'd be thrilled to see you appear on the guest list
In fact as you've bumped the thread back up, for info....
...final costing is
£5 per person per night camping
£5 for bbq
£3.50 per morning for a bacon buttie and brew on Sat/Sun.
£22 total for the weekend....before much beerage
No need for any payment in advance it all gets collected at the gate on arrival.
I'll add you to numbers anyway, as there can never be enough over counting as far as food is concerned.
The rideout on the Saturday is approx 130 miles. Its fully marked by hi viz wearing peeps. Fuel stops/lunch stop incorporated for us thirsty big twins( I nearly ran dry over Tanhill on a recce )
There looks to be around 70 bikes that will take part in that (some are staying at the campsite while we go play) Its not everyones cup of tea, but we've been doing it for quite a few years now, and everyone comes back grinning
If those coming are interested... the clothing shop is now open, nice glow in the dark tshirts etc, we have a design comp every year for the occasion, a nice momento of the event.

Finally if you do come.....make a note of your mileage from home, theres a few naff prizes to be won

Re: Invite ...
finding maps and mileage - I sorta doubt I'll be attending the rideout DB
Is there any chance that a 'brick' or 'wood' tent would still be available, so I can avoid packing too much?

Re: Invite ...
no need for a map on the rideout, its all planned so nobody gets lost!
ASFAIK, there is a single B&B room available, not sure of cost, you would have to contact the campsite direct for that one.
As it stands at the moment, there is one space available in one of the bunkhouses, and three in another(due to circumstance three orgers have had to drop out, and as one paid the deposit, hes the only one left to foot the bill)
If you were interested in a bunkhouse space I can contact the members and put you on their list, but the cost for those are 15 quid a night, and you'd still need to bring bedding.

OMG
I'm taking the VRap to show it off, not many have seen it yet. TBH, theres plenty of SVs, but a lot of folk have progressed, theres a right mixed bag every year. They've seen Suzy, but they ain't heard the VRap yet at an org event
