To save a bit of time getting the wheels powder coated ten miles from home, I made the mistake of asking a bike shop there to remove and refit my tyres and wheel bearings.
The idiots left the o-rings off the front wheel spacer, so that its a pig to line up when fitting the spindle.
worse still, I suspect that they've fitted the rear wheel spacer the wrong way round. The brake side outer spacer that clamps against the swinging arm now sticks out of the bearing by 3 or 4 mill, so the wheel won't go back in.
Before I go yelling at them, can someone please confirm that the spacer in the rear wheel can be fitted the wrong way round.
Does anyone know if the bearings are all 6006 for the back wheel and cush drive, too?
Cheers.
