indicator lenses for cheapskates

I've just noticed that the retaining lug on the orange indicator lens (front left) has sheared off (but the lens hasn't fallen out, so is now taped in place – I just hope the MoT test mechanic doesn't notice ). Googling only seems to come up with white replacement lenses with orange bulbs or else complete indicator units:

I really don't intend to change to white, or want to buy a whole assembly just for one cheap-to-produce item. Anyone know where I can get a couple of new orange lenses? Apologies for being such a cheapskate.

I don't think trhe MoT guys care just so long as it works and isn't covered with a supermarket bag (i think it's waitrose that do orange bags ?

The rears on v and all others are a fairly common lenses on mitos and some monsters and some triumphs shouldnt be too hard to find a secondhand one or someone doing a pattern part.

I have now obtained a couple of replacements from the man who supplied my replacement radiator a while ago. As you said, Shed (hey, poetry ), they are common to many bikes. Price £4.00 each plus recorded delivery; total, £11.95.
Actually, a detailed inspection showed that the original retaining lug was slightly wider but thinner, but the replacement seemed to slip into the slot anyway.

Just as a plug, the supplier was Rob Sturgess, whose international trading corporation operates out of the shed at the bottom of his garden. Mostly he seems to specialise in bits (and breaking) Cagiva Mito's, but has been very helpful to me in the past.

PS: have discovered that attempting to polish up the "chrome" on the plastic reflectors actually tends to remove it! Best left alone.
